No credit check credit cards are pretty much non existent. There are some credit cards that are easy to get compared to most but no credit cards companies are going to give anybody a credit card with no credit check. It just isn’t good business for the credit industry to give out a credit card without doing a credit check.

There are however a couple of credit cards that some people may consider to be similar to  no credit check credit cards.

One credit card that comes close to a no credit check credit card is called a secured credit card. Secured credit cards could be considered no credit check credit cards because a credit check isn’t really necessary.

Secured credit cards require a deposit. The bank that issues this type of no credit check card keeps the deposit as a form of collateral. If you default they simply charge

you a number of fines along with the amount you owe them. Secured no credit check credit cards are viewed as an alternative way of establishing credit.

By proving to the credit industry that you can be responsible with a secured no credit check credit card you may be able to move up to an actual credit card.

Sometimes lenders offer the opportunity for you to earn interest on your deposit. This would be the best option if you are eligible. If so check around for a secured no credit check credit card that offers the highest interest rate and the lowest fees. Yes, like any credit card, fees are involved. You will also need to carefully read the fine print to decide which lender offers the best deal for your situation.

Other cards that could be considered no credit check credit cards are gas station cards and department store credit cards. Although these are not true no credit check credit cards they are much easier to get approved on. The applicants credit history criteria is probably the most lenient in the industry.

The down side to these types of “no credit check credit cards” is the extremely high interest rates and fees. If you decide to get this kind of no credit check credit card make sure you fully understand the agreement terms and don’t miss any payments. That’s when the interest goes sky high and your credit rating goes down.

If you pay these kinds of no credit check credit cards completely off every month you can avoid the high interest rates. If you keep your balance below 20% of your available credit you will begin to establish a better credit rating. This means if you are allowed $2,000 credit you should never exceed $400 per month. After a year or two of maintaining good credit practices you might be able to get a credit card with a much more comfortable interest rate and lower fees etc.

No credit check credit cards are basically something that don’t exist but there are close alternatives that can help you establish a better credit score so you can get better credit cards down the road.
