Sears Credit Cards

Sears credit cards offer no annual fee, monthly payments, rewards, and 24/7 Customer Service. We have been using our Sears credit cards for many years and enjoy the rewards. We have managed to pick up some great products with our Sears credit card rewards. Since Sears offers so many different departments we often turn in or rewards points for Sears gift cards. Then we use the Sears gift cards to purchase whatever items we want. This is definitely the best type of reward plan for our family. We don’t fly often so frequent flyer miles don’t mean much to us.

There are many other great benefits that belong to Sears credit card members.

There are 3 basic types of Sears credit cards:

1. Sears Card credit cards - Card member only sales and unique financing offers throughout the year. Savings on Kenmore appliances, Craftsman tools and other brand name home electronics. No annual fee, zero liability on unauthorized purchases, returns without receipt, temporary shopping pass for those who forget their sears cards, special short term financing offers and more. Certain rules do apply to some of these benefits. You can use your Sears Card at Sears, Kmart, Sears.com, Kmart.com, Lands' End, and more.

2. Sears Gold Master Card credit cards – These Sears credit cards have all the benefits of the Sears Card including no annual fee plus more. As a Sears Gold MasterCard member you can earn 1 Sears Choice Rewards point for every dollar you spend in eligible purchases in this optional program. Sears reward points are great to get free selected items or even gift cards. Gift cards work excellent because you can use them to purchase almost anything from Sears.

You can also use your Sears Gold Master Card anywhere MasterCard is accepted.

3. Sears Commercial One credit cards – These cards offer no annual fee, organization of expense tracking, and help simplify record keeping.

The down side to these types of “no credit check credit cards” is the extremely high interest rates and fees. If you decide to get this kind of no credit check credit card make sure you fully understand the agreement terms and don’t miss any payments. That’s when the interest goes sky high and your credit rating goes down.

If you pay these kinds of no credit check credit cards completely off every month you can avoid the high interest rates. If you keep your balance below 20% of your available credit you will begin to establish a better credit rating. This means if you are allowed $2,000 credit you should never exceed $400 per month. After a year or two of maintaining good credit practices you might be able to get a credit card with a much more comfortable interest rate and lower fees etc.

No credit check credit cards are basically something that don’t exist but there are close alternatives that can help you establish a better credit score so you can get better credit cards down the road.
